The Egypt national football team, known as The Pharaohs, represents Egypt in international football and is controlled by the Egypt Football Federation (EFA), the governing body for football in Egypt. The current team manager is Héctor Cúper.

Egypt is the most successful national team in Africa, having won the Africa Cup of Nations on a record seven occasions: the inaugural edition in 1957, as well as the 1959, 1986, 1998, 2006, 2008 and 2010 editions. Egypt has also been as high as ninth in the FIFA World Rankings, making the team one of only three African national teams to enter the world's top ten.

Egypt qualified for the 2018 World Cup, their first appearance for 28 years and third overall. Currently, they have one of the most feared forwards in the world, Mohamed Salah who plays for Liverpool. In 2017, Salah was named CAF African Footballer of the Year and the BBC African Footballer of the Year.
