The Honduras national football team (Spanish: Selección de Fútbol de Honduras) represents Honduras in international football and is controlled by the Honduras Football Federation (Spanish: Federación Nacional Autónoma de Fútbol de Honduras, FENAFUTH), the governing body for football in Honduras.

The FENAFUTH was founded in 1951, became a member of FIFA in the same year, and a member of CONCACAF in 1961. In the 1930s, soccer experienced a surge in popularity in the country. However, the idea to organize football began to take shape in 1948 with the birth of an amateur liga. The first professional liga (Liga Nacional de Fútbol Profesional de Honduras) was founded in 1964. Since then, Honduras's top clubs have been Olimpia with 27 championships, Motagua with 12, and Real España with 11.

Honduras is one of the most successful football team in North America, Central America and the Caribbean, the area commonly known as CONCACAF. Los Catrachos will appear in their third finals after previous tilts in 1982, and 2010.
